Truman K. Eldridge, Jr.
EXPERIENCE
Truman Eldridge has forty years experience in civil litigation on both trial and appellate court levels. He has tried cases in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota, New Jersey, Virginia, Florida, Texas and California, and litigated in state and federal courts in twenty-one states, in suits involving complex business and commercial disputes, including class actions and anti-trust claims, labor and employment, insurance coverage, intellectual property disputes, environmental issues and in defending products liability, toxic torts and public utility negligence claims. He has authored articles and lectured on products liability, employment, commercial and environmental law issues as well as civil practice and procedure.Mr. Eldridge is admitted to practice in the State of Missouri, in the federal district courts for Western District Missouri and the District of Kansas and is admitted to and handled appeals in the Supreme Court of Missouri, the Missouri Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Iowa and before the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Eighth, Ninth, Tenth and Federal Circuits.
Mr. Eldridge is an Arbitrator and mediator for the Circuit courts and State of Missouri. He is on the Panel of Neutrals for U.S. District Court for the Western District Missouri, and the Arbitration Tribunal for the American Arbitration Association where he serves on the Commercial, Construction and Consumer Panels.

Mr. Eldridge defended a small Missouri manufacturer in a patent infringement suit brought by 3M company in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota in St. Paul. 3M sought over $9 Million in damages. After a one-week trial, the Jury returned a verdict for the defendant and against 3M and awarded the defendant $980,000 in damages against 3M on its counterclaim.
