Jacquelyn J. SugapongEXPERIENCEJacquelyn Sugapong joined the firm in 2008. She is admitted to practice in the state courts of Missouri, Kansas, California and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. While at Schlee, Huber, McMullen, & Krause, Ms. Sugapong has managed all aspects of defense litigation, including investigation of propane-related fires and explosions, strategic litigation planning, witness interviews, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.A California native, Ms. Sugapong received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminology, Law & Society and Psychology & Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine in 1999. She entered the legal profession as a paralegal for a not-for-profit appellate criminal defense law firm in San Diego. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Kansas City where she attended law school at the University of Missouri, Kansas City and graduated in 2003. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sugapong obtained extensive experience in mass tort, product liability, and toxic tort cases. Her current practice focuses on propane defense litigation representing major corporations in complex personal injury and property damage cases. In her free time, Jacquelyn enjoys traveling, jogging, watching live theater and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
